New Year's Greeting

May we each grow in our relationship with God and with others in 2005.

Praise God with me for:
1. God's blessing on each of us throughout 2004.
2. Completion of the CARLA draft of Banna Luke, which I emailed to colleague Donna Clawson on Dec. 29th, then again on Jan. 3rd because the first email went into cyberspace without reaching Donna. : (
3. I am booked to fly to Ethiopia Feb. 8th and return to the USA Mar. 28th.
4. Today marks my 32nd anniversary with SIM. I arrived in Ethiopia for the first time Jan. 4, 1973. Praise God for 32 wonderful years of ministry in the joy of His presence.

Pray with me for:
1. Health and strength to faithfully fulfill all my responsibilities (translation and literacy in Aari and Banna, ministering to Mother's needs, investing in relationships for His kingdom).
2. Wisdom regarding which book to work on next in Banna. I am going through our translation of 1 Corinthians now, adding CARLA rules to make the CARLA drafts more accurate.
3. Preparation of heart for the Aari church leaders and me, so that we can meet together in February and agree on the best plan for Aari literacy.
